HOW DOES IT WORK

Once your event is booked, I will arrive approximately 20 -30 mins early to set up. All I need from the venue is a large rectangle table and two chairs. Equipped with markers, cards, signs and a portable lamp, I will take photos of the guests and start illustrating on A6 premium card, taking approximately 10 minutes per person. Guests can continue to enjoy the event and collect their custom illustrations later.

For wedding events, the bride and groom will receive a complementry more detailed A5 illustration, completed after the event and sent by post. Clients can choose specific individuals to be illustrated (the VIP’s!) or opt for a first-come first-serve basis. Any guests not illustrated during the event who want an illustration can be captured in photos for studio completion after the event. (see studio time below for more information)

In order to get through as many guests in the allocated time booked, guests will be limited to 1 illustration each. (Maximum of 2 people per card)

PRICING

Pricing is structured based on the duration of the event:

£450

(up to 18 people illustrated)

One additional hour can be added on the day at £170 per hour. Prices do not include travel, with a charge of 50p per mile for locations further than 20 miles from the studio.

STUDIO TIME

Additional studio time can be added on which will cover any guests who want an illustration, as not all guests will be drawn depending on the size of the guest list. This is a particulary good option for those who have a large number of guests. Photos will be taken at the event and illustrations will be completed after the event in the same style and posted directly to you.

Alternatively if you would like your guests to be drawn without booking Live illustration I can sketch from the studio. All I will need you to provide is front facing digital photos of your guests. I will then illustrate and post out to you . This option is great for gifting your guests personalised thank you keepsakes!

As an extra add-on you can also have guests names handwritten in calligraphy for a special touch. (Use the contact form below for a quote.)

How many Illustrations can you draw?

I can illustrate approximately 6 people per hour. (approximately 3 couples per hour)

Will you be able to illustrate all my guests?

I’ll strive to get through as many as possible within the allocated time. For larger guest lists, studio completion is available.

What materials do you use to sketch?

I use high grade markers (no need to wait for illustrations to dry!) and premium 350gsm A6 card.

Will you travel?

Absoluelty! Im based in Birmingham but can travel across the UK. Additional charges apply for locations further than 20 miles and for events requiring over 2 hours travel each way, accommodation will be required.
