Live Illustration Services:
1. Booking and Payment:
A non-refundable 50 % deposit is required to secure the booking of live illustration services for an event.
The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the day of the event, prior to the commencement of services.
One additional hour beyond the initial minimum 3 hour booking duration may be added on the day, subject to availability, with payment due on the day of the event.
2. Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation by the client, the non-refundable deposit will be retained by the artist.
Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to the event date will result in the client being responsible for payment of the full fee. In the event of cancellation by theArtist, the full amount will be returned to the client within 7 days.
3. Illustration Process:
The artist will arrive at the venue approximately 20-30 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up equipment and materials.
Clients are responsible for providing a suitable space for the artist to work, including a rectangular table and two chairs.
The artist will commence illustrating guests according to the agreed-upon schedule, aiming to complete approximately 6 single illustrations per hour.
Clients may request specific individuals to be illustrated, or the artist may adopt a first-come, first-serve approach.
4. Travel Costs:
In the event that the Client's event is located outside the city limits, the Client agrees to reimburse the Artist for travel expenses at a rate of 50p per mile.
Travel costs will be calculated based on the round trip distance between the event location and the Artist's base of operations. Additionally, if the event location requires travel exceeding 2 hours each way, the Client will be responsible for providing accommodation for the Artist.
5. Studio Time:
Clients have the option to book studio time for illustrations if they are unable to have them completed during the live event.
Studio time can be booked through the website by selecting the desired number of guests to be illustrated from the available drop-down options.
Prices for studio time are as outlined on the website and may vary based on the number of guests to be illustrated.
Upon booking studio time, clients are required to submit clear digital photographs of the individuals to be illustrated.
The artist will complete the illustrations in the style of live illustrations from the studio based on the provided photographs.
Completed illustrations will be posted out to the client within 14-18 working days, depending on the number of people to be illustrated.
6.Promotional Use:
The Artist reserves the right to photograph the illustrations created during and after the event and utilize them for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media posts, website galleries, promotional materials, and portfolio showcasing. By entering into this Agreement, the Client consents to the Artist's use of these images for promotional purposes without further compensation or notification.
If the Client wishes to opt-out of having their illustration used for promotional purposes, they must notify the Artist in writing prior to the event.
7. Copyright and Intellectual Property:
The artist retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the illustrations created during and after the event.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use the illustrations for personal purposes only. Commercial use without the artist's consent is strictly prohibited.
8. Liability and Indemnification:
The artist is not liable for any damages or injuries occurring during the event.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless the artist from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to the event.
9. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
Any disputes arising under or related to this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of England.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping:
Custom orders are typically processed and shipped within 10-14 working days from the date of order confirmation. Studio Time orders will take slightly longer depending on number of illustrations required, typically within 14-18 working days from the date of order confirmation.
Orders are shipped via Royal Mail 1st Class for UK deliveries.
International shipping options are available upon request, with shipping fees calculated based on location and delivery method.
Returns and Refunds:
Due to the bespoke nature of handmade illustrations, all sales are final and non-refundable/non-exchangeable.
Each illustration is crafted with care and attention to detail, and considerable time and effort go into creating each piece.
If you have any concerns or issues with your order, please don't hesitate to reach out, and we will do our utmost to address your concerns and ensure your satisfaction.
Cancellation Policy:
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once they have been confirmed and payment has been processed.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on the stage of production.
